"The inspiration for this collection is a journey," says head designer Grazia Malagodi of the Sportmax Fall 2011 collection at Milan Fashion Week. The collection is based on a journey to Northern Europe, to places like Scandanavia, and the countries in that area approach fashion from an innovative standpoint. The collection is heavy on the black and the fur, but there are bits of color thrown in, such as royal blue pants. There is a lot of outerwear and coats, with clean lines and silhouettes. FashionTV gets at closer look at the fashion runway process, watching the models take their turn on the catwalk, before running back to the backstage area for a change in clothes."
